Yes. There are no fees for participants or hosts. Gather + Glow is our way of giving back to Brisbane’s small business community. We donate our time and the host venue donates their space, so there is no charge to attend or participate.
Entrepreneurs, small business owners, future business owners (ie. if you have an idea but have yet to turn it into a business), and anyone curious about mindful growth, marketing mindset, and building their brand.
Each session is limited to 10–12 participants to keep conversations genuine and engaging. We keep group numbers small to keep the conversation connected, relevant and intimate.
Sort of, but not really. This isn’t a schmoozy corporate mixer. Gatherings are designed for real, meaningful conversations—connecting with like-minded business owners who want to level up mindfully, embrace radical ownership, and develop a true growth mindset.
Each Gathering has a unique focus. Topics range from mindset and authenticity to social media, websites, SEO, email marketing, and more—making every session valuable and different.
Each event is co-led by Rose + Ember founder Kaili Rose and our partner host business, who brings their own expertise and perspective to the small-business topic at hand. For most topics, we'll also bring in a co-host who can add a new layer of learning and connection based on their area of expertise.
No. Different hosts may arrange activities, menus, or small experiences for our guests, but there’s no requirement to buy. Our host businesses are generously donating their space and time—just as we are—so we encourage you to support them in any way that feels right: grab a coffee, follow them on socials, or recommend them to your network.
Use the Join a Gathering form below. Spots are limited to keep the group intimate, so register early to save your seat. If you are unable to attend, please simply send us a message so we can give your place to someone on the waiting list.
If you’d like to showcase your business as a partner host, fill out the "Host a Gathering" form. There are lots of businesses that fit great for these events; cafés, studios, shops, co-working spaces, or creative venues all make great hosts. So please submit your information and we’ll be in touch to chat about your space, the best topics to spotlight, and how we can work together to make your event shine.
All we require is space, seating and your participation - simply provide a small space for 10–12 people (1–2 hours), introduce your business, and be part of the conversation. If you want to curate an activity, a menu or a special offering to be purchased by the group, that's entirely welcome. It’s a chance to showcase what you do in an authentic, meaningful way.

What Are Gather + Glow Events?
Think of them as small-group salons, discussion circles, or Lean In–style meetups led by us. Each event is10–12 business owners and entrepreneurs coming together in a casual setting, hosted by a small business venue for topic-led conversations about your life as a small business owner. Think: the skillsets you're looking to level up, the struggles you face, the inspiration you need, and everything real about business. This is about positive growth, skills + ideas and authentic connection with like-minded people who face the same daily challenges.
Each session will run on a topic relating to:
Marketing mindset + radical ownership of your success
Skills in marketing, branding, social media, web and digital presence
Mindfulness and clarity in entrepreneurship
Growth + inspiration in branding, promotion, and digital presence
Practical strategies you can apply straight away
It's your chance to connect with others looking to Glow Up in their business. At Rose + Ember, we’re passionate about helping small businesses thrive. Through coaching, our Ember Learning Channel, and free Spark Sessions, we’ve seen firsthand how one conversation can light the way forward. Gather + Glow is our way to bring that support into the community.
